Suggestions welcome on weather station

For those of you whom subscribe to our Newsletter, you all know that we are hot to trot on putting up a weather station.

We had MANY suggestions and an offer of seed money, however we are still working on this project and it appears it will take some time.

We are contemplating fundraisers and Sue Marosites is putting out a cookbook soon and some of the proceeds will go to IndexWa.org. The station we really want is just like this one: www.loghill.com/wxstn.html and it’s not cheap. Here is what it looks like on the web in action: www.loghill.com/weather.

It will forecast weather, and just about everything else related to weather and we feel it’d be a great addition to our website and for the folks of Index as well.

Give or take a few bucks, it’s in the range of $1,500-$1,700 with everything needed. The simple station itself is $895.00 but we can shop it hard and probably get it for a lot less.
