Prep baseball: Wesco All-State feeder game

Lake Stevens -- The South beat the North 9-2 in eight innings in the Wesco All-State baseball feeder game. The teams played a second, six-inning game which ended in a 4-4 tie.
After the game, ten players were nominated for the all-state game. Russell Crippen (Snohomish), Kyle Nobach (Marysville Pilchuck), Jake Campbell (Stanwood), Mike Maletto (Oak Harbor), Jorgen Arnesen (Edmonds-Woodway), Alex Hull (Edmonds-Woodway), Sean Elledge (Glacier Peak), Tanner Braun (Glacier Peak), Ian Hughes (Kamiak), and Michael Mazza (Cascade) were selected.
