Get Movin’ at Marysville’s Challenge Day fitness fair

The city of Marysville is on a fitness kick and wants everyone to join in.
Today is Challenge Day. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. families can get started on those health, nutrition and fitness goals by visiting the free fair at Allen Creek Elementary School.
More than 70 vendors will be there along with free health screenings, fitness demonstrations, free garden seeds, live entertainment and lots of giveaways.
The events include hula hooping, Frisbee golf and Zumba demonstrations.
Performers Maketa Wilborn and X8 Interactive Drumming, the Hot Dog Jumpers and blues musician Johnny Bregar will keep things moving.
Families can also learn about and register for the city's Get Movin' summer fitness programs.
Allen Creek Elementary School is at 6505 60th Drive NE, Marysville. See the website for more information. www.marysvillewa.gov/.
