A very good lingcod season is starting to wind down, but there are still fish to be had. State creel samplers at the Port of Everett ramp on Sunday tallied eight lings for 17 anglers.

Farther north, on Saturday, 61 fishermen at the Cornet Bay public ramp had 13 lings, and 75 anglers at the Washington Park ramp in Anacortes had 23 lings, six cabezon and 12 greenling.
