Author Gerard LaSalle will read from and sign his book “Widow Walk” at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the University Book Store at Mill Creek.
“Widow Walk” is historical fiction set in the Pacific Northwest during the turbulent mid-19th century as the United States and Britain both fought for control of the fertile lands and untapped resources, and tried to control the native populations.
LaSalle, who holds both medical and fine arts degrees, is a documentary and animation filmmaker as well as an author. He lives on Maury Island.
“Widow Walk” is listed at $19.95 for an autographed copy.
