MUKILTEO — Police are asking for help identifying the suspect in a hit-and-run crash in Mukilteo on May 5.
A newer, light-colored Cadillac CTS or ATS sedan ran a stop sign about 10:50 a.m. and struck a 55-year-old man on a Suzuki Burgman scooter, Mukilteo police officer Cheol Kang said.
The scooter had just exited the Mukilteo ferry, Kang said. The collision happened at Front Street and Highway 525. The sedan driver took off without stopping.
The man on the scooter suffered serious internal injuries and multiple broken bones. He spent 17 days at the hospital in critical condition and still is recovering at home, Kang said.
The sedan likely has damage to its front and left sides, Kang said. It may have dark blue paint on it from the scooter.
