Lake Stevens stabbing victim identified

LAKE STEVENS -- A homicide victim found in a Lake Stevens house earlier this week has been identified as Phillipa S. Evans-Lopez, 20.
Lopez died from stab wounds, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office.
Snohomish County sheriff's Major Crimes detectives and Lake Stevens police are investigating. They have not released additional details after the body was found Monday at the house in the 9200 block of 15th Street SE.
No suspects have been publicly identified. Anyone with information is encouraged to call 425-388-3845.
