Woman's death in Lake Stevens investigated

LAKE STEVENS -- Police continue to investigate the suspected homicide of a young woman in Lake Stevens earlier this week.
The woman, who was believed to be in her 20s, had not been publicly identified as of Wednesday. Her cause of death remains under investigation. Police believe she was the victim of violence.
Snohomish County sheriff's Major Crimes detectives and Lake Stevens police on Wednesday finished processing the scene where the woman was found at a home in the 9200 block of 15th Street SE, officials said.
They have not identified any suspects. Anyone with information is encouraged to call 425-388-3845.
