Seattle Storm head coach Brian Agler, who became the all-time winningest coach in women’s professional basketball in 2012, will be inducted into the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame on May 17, 2014.
“I feel very honored to be nominated fro induction into the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame,” Agler said in a press release. “I have had great fortune to have played for, played with and coached great basketball people that have impacted this recognition and because of that, I am very appreciative.”
Agler has a record of 236-153 in 17 years as a head coach in both the WNBA and ABL. In 2010, he led the Storm to a 28-6 regular-season record and an undefeated postseason capped off with a WNBA championship.
