How does you garden grow? Some plants, some water, some sun and some dirt, right?
Sandra DeLisle, a Snohomish County master gardener, is offering a free class Saturday on creating compost from yard or food waste to help give your plants not just “dirt,” but some homemade soil in which to thrive.
The class goes from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Everett Public Library, 2702 Hoyt Ave.
And here’s a bonus: worms. One lucky attendee will take home the demonstration worm bin.
Call the library at 425-257-8000, For more library events, see www.epls.org.
