Macklemore performs at Sasquatch in 2012. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will play Key Arena in December.

Monday Seattle’s Macklemore & Ryan Lewis announced they will be coming home on Dec. 12 to perform at Key Arena with Talib Kweli joining them on the bill. Even though this is a Thursday night show it is certain to sellout like many other shows have on the Macklemore & Ryan Lewis World Tour.

Tuesday was presale for members of www.macklemore.com. Some people were lucky enough to get their hands on the limit number of tickets released while others (like me) experienced a site that crashed due to all the traffic. Another presale will take place this Thursday and tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m.

When Macklemore & Ryan Lewis sold out the WAMU Theater back in October they were popular. Now with multiple hit singles and their debut album The Heist at nearly one million copies sold the Seattle rap duo is world famous. If you aren’t able to get in on the presale you will want to be at your computer hitting the refresh button repeatedly at 9:59 a.m. on Friday.

Tickets are going for $45 each plus fees on ticketmaster.com.
