MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — New private offices and work spaces are set to open soon in a five-story corporate building.

Regus, the world’s largest provider of flexible workspaces, plans by Aug. 1 to open its new location on the fourth floor of Redstone Corporate Center II at 6100 219th St. SW. It will include 60 fully furnished and equipped private offices, a reception area, a business lounge and a kitchen.

Regus in May started selling the offices in Mountlake Terrace. The location is one of more than 1,500 business centers across 600 cities and 100 countries. It will be the second in Snohomish County. The other location is scheduled to open on June 24 at the Canyon Park West Business Center in Bothell.

“Regus has a solution for any type of business,” said Carletta McKinney, area sales manager. “If you’re working out of an office currently, have a commercial lease and are looking to expand in the meantime, the good thing is we offer fully furnished offices with flexible terms.”

Lease terms of three months to 24 months are available, McKinney said. Interior private offices measure between 73 and 137 square feet with costs starting at $399 per month. Exterior private offices are 96 to 162 square feet and start at $549 per month. Several Regus Information Technology and Regus Voice packages are available for businesses of any size to purchase, while Regus pays for all utilities including electricity, water, heating and air conditioning.

The company also offers office space for use by the hour or the day, along with meeting space and web, audio and videoconferencing services. For those with a home-based business, Regus provides virtual or part-time offices. This option features a Regus office address, telephone answering, mail forwarding and preferred rates on offices and meeting rooms, among other things.

When someone leases an office, they can repaint walls, display a company logo and basically decorate the spaces however they want, McKinney said. Regus also offers its clients administrative support, full-time building access and information technology security services, maintained common areas and free parking.

“Regus as a whole is great for you to just plug and play,” McKinney said. “You don’t have to think about those things. You can just come in and do your work.”

Regus also offers a membership program called Businessworld. All full-time office and virtual office customers receive a Businessworld Gold membership that allows them to work in the business lounges of any Regus location.
