A World War II Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat will be featured at the Flying Heritage Collection's Fly Day from noon to 1 p.m. today.
The restored U.S. fighter plane is one of only four in the world in flying condition, according to a museum spokeswoman. The Flying Heritage Collection is located at 3407 109th St. SW near the south end of Paine Field.

Burn ban: The state Department of Natural Resources announced there will be a statewide burn ban on all DNR-protected lands from Monday through Sept. 30. The burn ban does not apply to federally owned lands.
The agency has had 57 wildfire started from escaped outdoor burn piles, which have burned approximately 202 acres.

Food drive: A food drive to benefit Snohomish County food banks is planned from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at the Grocery Outlet at 9620 B State Ave., Marysville. The Toys for Tots Foundation is running the drive. Food can be dropped off or donations made to the Snohomish County Food Banks. Diapers also are needed.
