Got a goat? Want to get a goat? The third annual Goatalympics is for you.
The free antics sponsored by New Moon Goat Rescue and Sanctuary take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 6 at Evergreen State Fairgrounds.
Goats and their owners compete in foot races, obstacle courses, costume contests and other competitions, such as Best Trick, Most Spots and Longest Beard. (Would that be goat or man?)
The events are open to adults and kids, both goat and human type.
There will also be a raffle, a silent auction and opportunities to adopt your own adorable goat,
The Goatalympics is a fundraiser for the rescue and sanctuary so donations are welcome.
The Evergreen State Fairgrounds is at 14405 179th Ave. SE, Monroe. Call Ellen Felsenthal at 425-791-4513 for more information.
