The victim, a 48-year-old man, was shot in the leg and was expected to survive, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office.
The shooting was reported at about 5:30 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of S. Carpenter Road. Investigators believe it may have been a botched robbery, sheriff's spokeswoman Shari Ireton said. Deputies detained and released at least four other people in the search for suspects, she said.
Several hundred marijuana plants were discovered during the investigation, Ireton said.
