Seattle
Seafair Summer Fourth will be an all day festival at Gas Works Park with performances, activities and food vendors. Gates will open at noon, and the fireworks show will begin at 10:15 p.m. This event is free to the public, but parking will be limited. For more info, visit www.seafair.com.
37th annual Lake Union Wooden Boat Festival will kick off on July 4 and run for the entire weekend at 1010 Valley St. from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Boat tours, food vendors, live music and many more activities celebrate Seattle’s maritime heritage.
Stanwood
4th of July Parade &Ice Cream Social, entrants meet in the Josephine Sunset Home parking lot at 10:30 a.m. Parade starts at 11 a.m. with ice cream social to follow at noon. No pre-registration necessary. For more information call the Stanwood Area Historical Society at (360) 629-6110.

Arlington, Lake Stevens, Monroe, Sultan and unincorporated Snohomish County: allowed on July 4 from 9 a.m. to midnight.
Brier, Darrington, Granite Falls, Index: allowed on July 4 from 9 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
Bothell, Granite Falls, Lynnwood and Marysville: allowed on July 4 from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Stanwood: allowed June 28-July 5 from noon to 11 p.m.
Safety Tips
Keep fireworks away from children at all times.
Be aware of your whereabouts when discharging fireworks as dry grass and brush are flammable.
Aim fireworks away from people and buildings.
Do not throw fireworks or hold them in your hands.
Never relight a “dud” firework and soak in water immediately. Do not put your face near dud fireworks.
Keep pets safe indoors and away from fireworks.
Clean up debris and soak used fireworks in water.
Transportation
Community Transit will not offer service Thursday. Everett Transit will operate Thursday on its Sunday schedule.
