Tune to KIRO-7 at 9 p.m. for Fourth of July coverage capped off with the fireworks display over Lake Union hosted by Steve Raible and Angela Russell.
The broadcast is part of KIRO's Summer of Seafair coverage and includes footage of the Patriots precision flying team and "The Best of the Blue Angels."
The nation's birthday celebration from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., will be shown at 8 and 9:30 p.m. on PBS, KCTS (Channel 9) locally.
Tom Bergeron of "Dancing With the Stars" hosts "A Capitol Fourth." Performers include Barry Manilow, Jackie Evancho and Scotty McCreery, and The National Symphony Orchestra.
Also, in the wake of Boston Marathon bombing, PBS announced that Neil Diamond will debut "Freedom Song: They'll Never Take Us Down."
The music and fireworks celebration will also be broadcast to troops on the American Forces Network.
Keep clicking that remote to pick up "Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular" beginning at 8 p.m. on NBC (KING-TV, Channel 5). Macy's boasts that more than 40,000 fireworks will be ignited over the Hudson River following performances by Usher, Mariah Carey, Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift, Cher, Pitbull and Selena Gomez.
The show will be hosted by Nick Cannon of NBC's "America's Got Talent."
Although the show goes on, the famed Boston Pops July 4th fireworks and orchestra show on the Boston Commons will not be aired nationally this year, the first time in more than 20 years.
While you're waiting for the live fireworks to begin, tune in to Turner Classic Movies for a daylong schedule of patriotic movies.
The films include the yearly showing of "Yankee Doodle Dandy," starring Jimmy Cagney as the prolific songwriter and vaudeville showman, George M. Cohan. It's on at 2:30 p.m.
TCM is also showing "Anchor's Aweigh" at noon and "1776" starring William Daniels as John Adams will air at 10:30 p.m.
