Korean War-era rocket found in Castle Rock
The Daily News of Longview reported that sheriff's spokesman Charlie Rosenzweig said the two-foot-long rocket appeared to be a training round and posed no significant danger.
He said it was unclear where it came from. A sheriff's report said it surfaced last weekend in blackberry bushes near a barn. A woman who lives on the property reported it Tuesday.
A team from Joint Base Lewis-McCord picked it up Tuesday afternoon. The military officials described it as a training rocket.
