How about watching some ruminates romping?
The third annual Goatalympics, a free event sponsored by New Moon Goat Rescue and Sanctuary, will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds.
It’s a competitive event where goats and their owners battle for the win in foot races, obstacle courses, costume contests and other trials, such as Best Trick, Most Spots and Longest Beard.
As you might guess, the events are open to adults and kids, that is the four-legged goat types and the two-legged human type.
There will also be a raffle, a silent auction and opportunities to adopt your own rascally goat.
The Goatalympics is a fundraiser for New Moon so donations are welcome.
The Evergreen State Fairgrounds is at 14405 179th Ave. SE, Monroe. Call Ellen Felsenthal at 425-791-4513 for more information.
