COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho -- Authorities in northern Idaho say they plan to resume a search on Sunday with a dive team and side scan sonar team for a 14-year-old boy who disappeared while swimming in Blue Lake a day earlier.
Kootenai County Sheriff Ben Wolfinger said the boy from Spokane was swimming with three other children about 6 p.m. Saturday when he became separated from the other juveniles and disappeared.
A dive rescue team searched the lake for more than two hours Saturday but was unsuccessful in finding the boy.
Wolfinger said the boy was boating with his father, siblings and friends when he disappeared.
