Simple water features: Learn how to make and maintain a water feature in your yard at Grow With the Flow at 7 p.m. July 17 at Camano Multipurpose Center, 141 East Camano Drive, Camano Island. Edmonds in Bloom: The 18th annual garden tour on July 21 features six gardens including a Zen garden and a garden of rare species. Snohomish Garden Tour: The Snohomish Garden Club self-guided tour is from noon to 5 p.m. July 28, featuring eight urban and suburban gardens. Tickets are $12 and will be available in early July at Annie’s on First, Curly Willow, Joyworks, Kusler’s, McAuliffe’s Valley Nursery, Machias Nursery, McDaniel’s Do It Center, Molbacks, My Garden Nursery and Sunnyside Nursery. Arboretum tours: Reservations are now being taken for 2013 custom group tours of the Evergreen Arboretum &Gardens. The group tours are available all year by calling 425-257-8597. There is no charge, but donations to the Evergreen Arboretum Foundation are welcome. The arboretum is at 145 Alverson Blvd., Everett. Classes

Drip irrigation class: Master gardner Jeff Thompson’s workshop will show how to make a drip irrigation system from 1 to 6 p.m. July 11 at the Snohomish County WSU Extension office at McCollum Park, 600 128th St. SE, Everett. The class is $20 a person or $25 for two people sharing materials. Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens 2013 lectures: Noon to 1 p.m. select Saturdays, at the arboretum, 145 Alverson Blvd., Everett, either in the indoor classroom or, when appropriate, outside on the arboretum grounds. Got a gardening question? Consult a local master gardener at a public plant clinic. If you have a plant with a problem or disease, bring in a fresh plant sample that, if possible, includes the diseased area, a transition area and a healthy area. Photos are also helpful.
