SNOHOMISH — Two people were hurt Saturday afternoon after a driver reportedly ran a stop light along Highway 9 in the Snohomish area.
The crash was reported about 2:30 p.m. near the highway’s intersection with E. Lowell-Larimer Road, according to a Washington State Patrol memo.
Troopers allege that a 19-year-old Marysville woman in a Hyundai Santa Fe ran the light and struck a Volvo C30. She was unhurt.
The Volvo’s driver, a 48-year-old Snohomish man, was taken to Harborview Medical Center. A passenger in the car, a 45-year-old Snohomish woman, was taken to a local hospital.
Some lanes were closed for several hours. The crash remains under investigation.
