STANWOOD -- A missing toddler was found safe in Stanwood on Tuesday afternoon.
The 3-year-old girl's babysitter called police about 12:30 p.m. to report the child missing, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office.
The search lasted about an hour. A family member had picked up the child but didn't tell the babysitter.
A rescue helicopter assisted with the search.
