And Luigi Bord with the weather: Asiana Airlines said it has dropped its plans to sue San Francisco TV station KTVU for damaging Asiana's reputation by reporting four false and racially offensive names as that of the flight crew of the Boeing 777 that crashed on landing on July 6.

Still pending is KTVU's lawsuit against KTVU for damaging its own reputation, announced the station's lawyers Lee Tigious and Sue Freely.

Good dog: Lassie, the dog star of movies, a long-running TV series and numerous remakes, may make another return to video soon. Dreamworks Animation has bought the rights to produce new adventures for the good girl.

But an early look at Lassie's new show raises doubts: There's not much for Lassie to do but whimper with concern as Timmy uses his smartphone to text for help from the bottom of the well.

Bad dog: A Sandpoint, Idaho, teacher, on a 2,750-mile fundraising bicycle trek from Idaho to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, was surprised to find not a dog but a wolf chasing him for miles along an Alaskan highway.

Disgraced Tour de France cyclist Lance Armstrong said he would never have used banned substances and blood doping had he known he could have just had a wolf chase him.
