A free family-friendly performance of “Mr. Oz” will be presented by theater artist and Camano Island resident Tracy W Hinkson-Nollan.
This 30-minute show will run at 3 p.m. Saturday at Freedom Park at Terry’s Corner, Camano Island.
The show is being presented by New Day Children’s Foundation. The show will introduce audiences to New Day and will be followed by a question and answer period about “Mr. Oz,” the foundation and an August workshop, “A Theatre Adventure.”
New Day Children’s Foundation’s goal is to provide community theater.
The interactive theater workshop will run for three days a week for three weeks for all ages with a focus on school aged youth. Students will explore story making, rehearsal and performance techniques and will practice movement, safety first, games, and individual and group performances, according to a press release.
The workshop will be run at Odd Fellows Recreation Park, 96 S Camano Ridge Road, Camano Island.
Registration before July 22 is $475 per student and $275 for each additional sibling or buddy. Rates increase to $525 and $325 after July 22.
