PORTLAND, Ore. — A Circuit Court judge in Portland has sentenced a 26-year-old pimp to 100 years in prison after jurors declared him a dangerous offender.
The sentence imposed Friday by Judge Kelly Skye offers the possibility that Sirgiorgio Clardy might be released after 36 years.
Jurors recently convicted Clardy of compelling prostitution, second-degree assault and first-degree robbery. They were told he beat an 18-year-old woman he forced to work as a prostitute so badly that she bled from her ears.
The Oregonian reported that Clardy has been convicted of 20 felonies.
Frank Colistro, a psychologist who interviewed Clardy, said the man was 100 percent likely to commit violent crimes again in the next seven years, if free.
