EVERETT -- Taking advantage of two birdies and an eagle midway through his round, Mark Strickland of Mukilteo fired a 2-under-par 70 on Sunday to win his second consecutive Everett Amateur golf tournament at Legion Memorial Golf Course.
Strickland, who opened the 36-hole tournament on Saturday with a 3-under 69 at Walter Hall Golf Course, finished at 5-under 139.
