The 100th Tour de France wrapped up last night.
Winner Chris Froome of Britain finished with a winning margin of 4 minutes, 20 seconds, the largest since 1997. Colombia’s Nairo Quintana placed second.
Cyclist completed 21 stages during the three week race, the last was 82 miles.
The 169 finishers — of the 198 who started — cycled through Corsica, France’s so-called “island of beauty,” to the cobbles of the Champs-Elysees — 2,115 grueling miles in total.
