EUGENE, Ore.— Kristian Brito hit a two-run homer in the seventh inning, leading the Everett AquaSox to a 4-1 win over the Eugene Emeralds on Sunday.
The home run by Brito scored Nick Zammarelli to give the AquaSox a 3-1 lead.
The AquaSox tacked on another run in the ninth when Brito hit a solo home run.
Danny Garcia (5-1) got the win with 3 1⁄3 innings of scoreless relief while Tyler Peitzmeier (2-1) took the loss in the Northwest League game.
Trent Giambrone homered and singled for the Emeralds.
