Weiner dogged

See "clueless": Anthony Weiner, D-Pixelated, caught up in reports that he continued to exchange lewd photos and text message even after resigning from Congress in 2011, vowed to stay in his race for mayor of New York, after his campaign manager resigned.

A photo of Weiner now illustrates the entry for "hubris" in the dictionary. But, trust us, you should just continue to guess at spelling "hubris."

Jerky? Self-described patriots used a self-reliance rally in northern Idaho to warn about the inevitable collapse of the U.S. economy and recommend stocking up on ammunition and survival supplies. Among the rally's activities was a historical-document reciting contest for the kids.

One of the historical documents was a Glenn Beck chalkboard talk that connects the dots between Attila the Hun and Barack Obama.

Damn, Yankees: New York Yankee Derek Jeter hit a home run on the first pitch he saw in Sunday's game against Tampa Bay. It was Jeter's first game after a 17-day injury absence that followed missing most of this season. The homer was a ray of hope for New York fans waiting to hear about fellow Yankee Alex Rodriguez's potential penalties for using performance-enhancing drugs.

Jeter returned to the dugout to high-fives from teammates and a cup to pee in from MLB Commissioner Bud Selig.
