"Operation Cross Country VII" took place over the past week and included stings in Everett and other cities around Western Washington, according to a news release. The operation also recovered cash, guns and stolen identification cards.
The operation included the FBI's North Sound Child Exploitation Task Force in Everett, a partnership with the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office and police in Everett and Mount Vernon. The task force focuses on federal crimes involving the sexual exploitation of minors.
Nationwide, the sweep rescued 105 juvenile victims in 76 cities, the FBI said.
