Take in the relaxed atmosphere and magnificent views of the Cascade Mountains and the North Fork of the Skykomish River while listening to continuous live music and strolling among the artists' booths.
Local and long-time area artists Patrick Woods and Dean Shepard, will be featuring their artwork in booths, along with a cast of other local artists as well creating jewelry, decorative crafts and garden art.
Your children can participate in some of the free art activities in town to get their creative juices flowing.
Music can be heard from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. by Pat Sample of Paradise Sound featuring local artist Rib Horst and his band along with other northwest musicians. You can also eat a meal prepared by a Sky Valley Restaurant or local chef.
Admission and parking are free.
The art festival is just one way to take in the local charm. You could also book a kayak or raft ride down the Skykomish River with Outdoor Adventures. Or tour the newly renovated historic Bush House. Or check out Index history at the Historical Society museum. Or take a hike on Heybrook Ridge. Or take a climb at the well-known Index Town Wall.
