Arlington: Take a ceramics class
A ceramics class is being taught at the Stillaguamish Senior Center from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays.
Anyone older than 18 who is interested in ceramics as well as trading books, magazines, recipes and visiting, can sign up for the class. Potluck lunches are planned near the holidays.
The senior center is located at 18308 Smokey Point Blvd, Arlington.

Edmonds: Support food bank
The Edmond's Lions Club is kicking off its annual food bank raffle by selling tickets at the Edmonds Summer Market. All proceeds will benefit the local food bank, which is located at the Edmond's United Methodist Church. Last year, the Lions Club gave the food bank $4,000.
Raffle tickets are $1.
Every Saturday, in October, members will sell tickets at different locations, including Top Foods, QFC/Westgate, QFC/Lynnwood, Edmond's Family Market/IGA and the Edmond's Car Show.
The drawing will be Nov. 25. Winners will be contacted the following day.

Island County: Join housing board
The Island County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill a term on the Island County Housing Authority Board that expires Dec. 6, 2017.
The Housing Authority Board of Commissioners consists of five community members and one resident member.

Lynnwood: Volunteers needed at Clothes For Kids
Clothes For Kids is seeking volunteers to sort clothes, stock shelves and racks and assist shoppers.
Clothes For Kids has been serving Snohomish County since 1984 as a nonprofit organization providing wardrobes for low-income families. There has been a significant growth in clients over the past two years and the need for volunteers is greater than ever.
The nonprofit provides about 4,000 wardrobes each year.
Shifts are 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Volunteers are needed for all shifts.
