Late-morning Seahawks links

. . . Because I was working on some other stuff earlier this morning.

Anyway, today is preseason game No. 1, so in the Herald we have five things to watch for when the Seahawks play at San Diego.

Ian Rapoport of has his five observations from his visit to Seahawks camp.

Jim Trotter of Sports Illustrated writes that the Seahawks know they haven't accomplished anything yet.

ESPN's Hannah Storm sits down with Russell Wilson to talk a bit about his rookie season, as well as his weekly visits to Seattle Children's Hospital, something he did every Tuesday last season with little fanfare.

If you've got a lot of time, and want a very thorough breakdown of the roster, be sure to check out this podcast over at with Derek Stephens and Davis Hsu.

And just for fun, Marshawn Lynch makes a cameo in this video put out by the Oakland Unified School District.

Finally, this isn't Seahawks specific, but there was a lot of talk about rule changes/points of emphasis in 2013. If you want to know more about it, you can watch the video the league produces to show players what changes are coming this year.
