Well now that we've got that cleared up, on to some links from today and over the weekend, because hopefully you missed some stuff because you were enjoying the weekend and not just sitting in front of a computer/newspaper.
From Sunday's Herald, a look at Kam Chancellor and how he became a leader of Seattle's defense before he thought he was ready. And our story today on Robert Turbin's return to practice, as well as some injury updates.
TheMMQB.com is previewing each team in depth, and here's their look at the Seahawks.
A couple more worthwhile reads from Sunday if you missed them: Jayson Jenks of the Seattle Times on Earl Thomas and his quest to be the league's best safety, and Eric Williams of the Tacoma News Tribune on the underrated Brandon Mebane, who following the departure of Leroy Hill and Marcus Trufant, is now the Seahawks' longest-tenured player.
ESPN's NFC West blogger Mike Sando breaks down the playing time of Seattle's rookies in their preseason opener.
The Vancouver Sun looks at how the NFL has become big business north of the border, and how the Seahawks are a big part of that in British Columbia.
Kenneth Arthur of Fieldgulls.com has a very funny and very optimistic look at the Seahawks, suggesting that the Seahawks should be called the "Super Cool Dudes Hawks." Just a warning, their is a bit of adult language in the story, so consider yourselves warned.
The story includes this line that nearly made me spit my coffee out on my computer screen: "What ever happened to predictability? The milkman, the paperboy, and J.R. Sweezy?"
And if that isn't funny to you, you clearly didn't grow up/have kids growing up in the '80s, so watch this to catch up:
And finally, this has nothing to do with the Seahawks or football, but it was by far the funniest thing I've read in the last week, so do yourself a favor and check out Grantland's look back at the U.S. soccer team's photo shoot prior to the 2002 World Cup. Trust me, it's worth your time.
