MALTBY — Three people were injured Thursday in a crash on Highway 522.
The crash happened about 2:35 a.m. where Paradise Lake Road intersects with the highway.
A Mountlake Terrace man, 37, reportedly failed to stop at a red light and slammed into a westbound Ford pickup, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The 65-year-old Monroe man driving the pickup and a woman who was a passenger were rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The extent of their injuries wasn’t immediately available.
The Mountlake Terrace man was taken to Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland.
The crash shut down the highway for several hours. The State Patrol is continuing to investigate.
