The Our Golden Hours Club met. Hazel Marshall was in charge of a talent show. Cecelia Johnson and Miles Rooney entertained and Steve Docken played the trombone. Mary Wade sang. Erwin Carboneau announced another trip to the Seattle city center. Cards and dancing were enjoyed.
Brian Allen Diedrich, son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Diedrich Jr., 6107 East Dr., was a year old today. Grandparents were Leona Sell of Everett and Guy Diedrich of Marysville. Mr. and Mrs. William Diedrich, Everett, were great-grandparents. Brian had a brother, Bradley Allen, 3.

There were plenty of smiles in Mukilteo after word came that the Defense department had decided 10 jet-fuel tanks on the waterfront would be phased out because of budget constraints. Mayor Emory Cole said it opened up potential for Mukilteo.
Dr. Hugh L. Lacey announced the opening of his obstetrics, gynecology and infertility practice in the Cascade Medical Center in Arlington. Lacey was board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The clinic was located at S. Stillaguamish, Suite 8.
