The Herald

What's 'liberal' is in eye of beholder

I see lots of letter writers saying The Herald is too liberal. I don't believe that is true. In past years, newspapers were often either Democrat or Republican and they changed because they wanted more readers. I am a retired union ironworker, and I don't think much of the big city, bleeding heart liberals because they really do want to take away all firearms from the average person. I also don't like the way they keep the police from doing their job.
The liberals cry like hell over what they call police brutality and later they cry like hell because crime and violence increases. I feel I am forced to vote for Democrats because in this state nearly all Republican politicians will not represent union members, city people or any kind of minority. You would get little argument if you were to call the tea party Congress we have now. The worst congress ever!
