I’ve gotten some questions about an accident over the weekend at the construction site at the corner of Wall Street and Grand Avenue, a couple of blocks south of The Herald building.
Yes, there was a mishap involving wooden forms used to pour concrete. However, there were no injuries. Building officials did not issue any fines or warnings. There was no building collapse.
Here’s what the city spokeswoman Meghan Pembroke told The Herald:
“This was actually just a form break – crews were getting ready to pour concrete and one of the wooden forms gave way,” she said.
