SHADY COVE, Ore. -- Police say two teenage boys are the chain-saw-wielding vandals who damaged a Shady Cove, Ore., park three weeks ago.
The Mail Tribune reported the boys are 14 and 15, and were released to their parents. They will appear in court on charges they vandalized Aunt Caroline's Park.
The teens allegedly used a chain saw to cut down two trees, carve a 3-by-3-foot hole in the side of the park's pump house, and cut two picnic benches in half.
Investigators did not provide a damage estimate.
