AquaSox rout Canadians 10-2

EVERETT -- Leadoff hitter Michael Faulkner ignited the Everett AquaSox offense, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and four runs scored, and the Sox routed the Vancouver Canadians 10-2 on Wednesday night in the opener of a three-game series.
James Zamarripa and Justin Seager each had three hits and two RBI as the Sox piled up 17 hits off Canadians' pitching.
Sox starter Thyago Viera (4-5) threw five shutout innings to earn the victory.
Faulkner got Everett off to a great start, doubling and scoring in each of the first two innings against Canadians starter Justin James. James (1-5) lasted just two innings and yielded seven hits and five runs.
Everett scored three more runs in the fourth behind Zamarripa's second RBI single of the game and Seager's two RBI base hit.
