BOISE, Idaho — If Gary Furbee, of Caldwell, could follow instructions, he and his wife probably wouldn’t be celebrating a $300,000 lottery win.
On Tuesday, Rose Furbee told her husband to buy two $300,000 Spectacular lottery tickets — the ones with the stacks of money on them. But he bought two tickets for Cash Explosion at a Nampa grocery store, which, she points out, has money bags on them.
So on the way home she had him stop at another store to buy the right tickets. And boy did he.
He bought three of the $300,000 Spectacular tickets and said the third one was the big winner.
Meanwhile, Lee Isbell claimed a $200,000 Cash Explosion prize with a ticket she purchased at a Rathdrum grocery store.
