Learn how to prepare for natural disasters

EVERETT -- The Everett Fire Department plans an emergency-preparedness class set to begin Sept. 25.
The "Community Emergency Response Team" class runs from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday nights through Nov. 13.
Participants will learn how to prepare for and respond to natural disasters and severe weather conditions, and how to help their neighbors, too.
Class size is limited. Applications are due by Sept. 16. For more information, call 425-257-7965 or email everetteoc@ci.everett.wa.us.
