MARYSVILLE -- State Patrol troopers are investigating the cause of an accident near midnight Saturday that sent five people to the hospital.
One person -- a man whose age and hometown were not available -- was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The other four men were taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, according to a State Patrol accident memo.
Troopers said the crash occurred on the southbound onramp to I-5 just south of Fourth Street in Marysville.
A 1997 Acura driven by an Everett man, 25, was stopped in one of the lanes with its headlights off when it was hit by a 1994 Ford pickup that was changing lanes. The pickup was driven by an Everett man, 54.
