EDMONDS — Police are searching for a man suspected of robbing a KeyBank in Edmonds on Wednesday afternoon.
The robbery was reported about 4:45 p.m. at the bank at 9930 Edmonds Way, in the Westgate area, Edmonds police Sgt. Mark Marsh said.
A man walked in and handed a teller a note demanding cash, Marsh said. He implied that he had a weapon. He then ran away with the cash.
Detectives remained on scene Wednesday evening.
The suspect was described as a white man, about 60 years old and 5-foot-11. He had gray hair and a slender build. He wore a white T-shirt, navy blue shorts, white socks and athletic shoes. He had a small green or blue backback with tan straps. Anyone with information should call 425-771-0212.
