Everett vs. Spokane lineup notes

EVERETT

Forwards: Bajkov, Sandhu, Leedahl, Mappin, Stadnyk, Fontenyne, Raymond, Hayer, Aasman, Skapski, Penner, Hopponen.

Defensemen: Juulsen, Pufahl, Betker, Skrumeda, Mueller, Adam.

Goaltenders: Cotton (starting), Amundrud.

Scratches: Low, Petryk, Bauml, Winquist, Nikolishin, Zipp, MacDonald, Davis, Lotz.

Notes: Everett goes with a slightly younger lineup tonight, with overage forwards Joshua Winquist and Reid Petryk and No. 1 goaltender Austin Lotz among the scotches. Sixteen-year-old winger Patrick Bajkov gets his first taste of a WHL game tonight. Center Ivan Nikolishin is the odd-import out.

SPOKANE

Forwards: Stewart, Bechtold, Hascic, Helewka, Cardiff, Yamamoto, Oneschuk, Whittingham, Zwerger, Chartier, Playfair, Miske.

Defensemen: McIntosh, Bobyk, King, Henderson, Gow, Fiala.

Goaltenders: Hughson (starting), Martin.

Scratches: Velhelst, Fram, Coyle, Sozanski, Whitwham, Proft, Ross, Rayman, Power, Predinchuk, Faith, Toporowski.

Notes: Spokane didn't even bother to bring its overagers to the tournament, so the Chiefs can't help but be young. But given the players Spokane did bring, this is a fairly experience group. It still includes a whole bunch of prospective rookies.
