Why not satisfy your creative urges with an art project? Classes start Friday at Schack Art Center.
Consider one of the trendy Arty Hour classes: a glass of wine, some snacks and a project. In addition to several watercolor classes, Arty Hour offers sessions on decorating a wine or pint glass with enamel paint; learning book-binding techniques using cloth and decorative papers; and assembling a "talisman" pendant. Arty Hour classes are actually three hours, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays at Schack, 2921 Hoyt Ave., Everett.
More classes cover glass-blowing; jewelry-making, including working with metal; basketry; and holiday workshops.
Classes start at $45 and run to more than $300 for advanced glass blowing. The schedule runs through December. To find out more, register for a class or download the brochure, go to www.schack.org, call 425-259-5050 or stop in at Schack.
