Clean up crime in downtown core

SHARE: facebook Twitter icon Linkedin icon Google+ icon Email icon |  PRINTER-FRIENDLY  |  COMMENTS
The revitalization of downtown Everett over the last decade has been wonderful and sorely needed, but I sure wish the Everett Police Department would focus their efforts on rooting out all of the crime that seems to be occurring on a daily basis near downtown. I constantly see panhandlers, drug addicts and people drinking alcohol in plain sight. There are multiple drug houses right by the children's museum too! There is something wrong with that and I just wish the police department would focus their efforts on cleaning up certain areas in and around downtown. Everything else has been cleaned up, so let's weed out the habitual addicts and criminals and downtown Everett will be top notch.
