The Columbian reports Herrera Beutler's office made the announcement Thursday. It did not elaborate on which way the congresswoman from Camas will vote. Her spokesman says she's skeptical of a U.S. military strike. But is willing to hear opposing arguments.
Much of Herrera Beutler's congressional duties were put on hold in July, when she gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Abigail. The baby was born about three months early and without functioning kidneys.
