Address same issues years later

A closer examination of the monumental March of 1963 and today's reality. Reflecting on this historical event in our country and how it has shaped our conscience in this country by moving in the appropriate direction.
However, the most sinful act in America today is forgetfulness, the March of 1963 birth these three essentials:
•The Civil Rights Act
•The Voting Rights Act
•Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
Reflecting on The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the man, the only American citizen who has a national holiday named in his honor, and a monument of him in our nation's capital. Most importantly, his message of "The Beloved Community."
I am grateful in having the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C., 50 years later and participated for the celebration of speech that was heard around the world.
My only reservations today, we're still addressing the identical issues 50 years later employment, social justice issues, and equality.
However, I was overwhelmed by the oneness during the marching, by understanding of human rights for all, livable wages for all, and create accessible higher education or vocational training for all.
In closing, I am hopeful and optimistic about our country's future.
We have come to far to turn around.
The power does not rest in the White House.
The power does not rest in the Congress.
The power does not rest in the rich.
Forever reminded,
The power rests with the people.
God Bless America!
